The Business Hub Kirklees launched – 30 September 2016
On the 30 September, Business leaders and partners from across the region gathered for an informal breakfast with local businesses to launch Business Hub Kirklees – the Council’s new, innovative and FREE online business support package for companies in Kirklees.
Jacqui Gedman (Deputy Chief Executive of Kirklees Council) shared how this pioneering approach will help to transform businesses across Kirklees. Roger Marsh (OBE) from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) provided an update on how the Growth Deal has benefited businesses, as well as what the latest thinking and opportunities from the LEP. This was followed by a ‘question and answer’ session and an opportunity for guests to speak to our Business Advocates who were there to give free support, advice and answer questions about grants, finance, HR, IT and business planning.
